Petrotrack also undertakes Project management and commissioning by employing qualified clerks of work and facilitating site meetings throughout the duration of the project according to milestones set out. Where Kenya Power and Lighting is involved, Petrotrack facilitates following of proper procedures to achieve connection on schedule.

The choice of contractors to be invited for a tender is the client’s prerogative. However, Petrotrack may assist with lists of contractors we have had contact with in the past who have carried out similar works to our satisfaction.

In Project Management the driving factors are to ensure the quality of work is high and that the project is implemented as per design specifications and on agreed project programme. This is achieved by issuing weekly, fortnightly and monthly reports. Further, Petrotrack Engineering Services strives to maintain project costs to remain within budget by ensuring unwarranted variations are avoided. Petrotrack has been managing electrical maintenance contractors working for Vivo Energy throughout its retail network in Kenya for the last 3 years after it did an electrical safety audit of the network in year 2009/2010.
